4 Week Countdown: A Show Worth Talking About

In exactly 4 weeks from today on February 7th, Anjé will be participating in a New York Fashion Week show unlike any other.  The NYLON Project was launched to aid the homeless in NYC through a  campaign titled "It Can Be You," in collaboration with fashion/beauty brands and celebrity/influencer involvement.

Founder Jordana Guimaraes established The NYLON Project to create awareness about NYC's rising homelessness by aiming to provide 1500 meals to the homeless with each recipient of a meal explaining how they wound up on the streets. Their stories are shared via social media so that people will relate to them as humans, stop judging them as homeless and begin to see that they are real people too. The premise is, ‘It can be you…It can be me…It can be any of us!, ’ Jordana explains.  Influencers will walk the runway with the homeless person whose story they shared. As a sponsored brand, Anjé will donate clothing to the homeless to help them on their journey to finding a job.

With supporters like The Brooklyn Nets,
Miss New York Nicole Kulovany and “Vanderpump Rules” star Peter Madrigal, it's no wonder the project is picking up a lot of press. Just last week it was featured in WWD

The philanthropic entrepreneur started a GoFundMe page to aid in the cost of this project.  The funds raised will go towards the 1,500 meals being donated between now and the end of February, 2017.

More info on tickets, show time and location coming soon.
