5 No-Equipment At-Home Workouts We Swear By 💪

We are now in our fourth month of quarantine. Let that sink in. Almost a third of a year sheltered away and socially distancing as much as possible. We all deserve a pat on the back for sure – it has not been easy! As we start to open back up cautiously, there’s a sense of overwhelming hope. Even in New York, beaches are open and it’s very possible, for even just a second, to feel like we’re living in normal times again.
COVID can’t cancel summer entirely! …which means it’s still technically bikini season 😱. Although gyms in some areas are starting to open their doors again, we totally understand if you’d rather stick it out at home for a little while longer. By now, you’ve probably perfected your at-home workout routine anyway. But any exercise junky knows it’s healthy to switch things up every now and then! So go mix your pre-workout shake and feast your eyes on our list of no-equipment, at-home workouts we swear by!

10 Minute Ab Workout 

Your first time through will be rough, I’m warning you now. But after going through the routine and hearing Rebecca Louise’s encouraging English accent a couple of times, you’ll find that those side planks are no match for you! Your core is so important for all other workouts you might do, so spending just 10 minutes a day on it isn’t a bad investment!

20 Minute Brutal HIIT Ladder Workout
Brutal isn’t in the title for nothing! When I first tried this workout, I only had time to do half of it, yet I couldn’t properly walk up my staircase for at least 4 days after. As with any HIIT workout, you’re getting a strength and cardio workout at the same time since there are only very small rests between sets. This one contains burpees, if that’s any indicator for how intense it is… Good luck!

7 Minute Toned Arms Workout
Toning your arms with no equipment might not seem feasible, but let me tell you that keeping your arms up and moving for 7 minutes straight is a lot harder than it sounds! Do it with all of your gym rat friends over Zoom and watch them all underestimate this workout!
